19 December 2008: New Reconciled NSP - BEN2202

The reconciliation manager wishes to advise participants of an additional node to be reconciled. As at 1 February 2009, the following will be in place:

Flow Direction: X and I
Start Date: 1 February 2009

This is an additional node in the reconciliation system, according to information received from Meridian on 15 December 2008.


17 December 2008: Changes to Embedded Networks

The reconciliation manager wishes to advise participants of a change to existing embedded networks. As at 1 January 2009, the following will be a change at WAB0011 WFNZ EN and WPK0011 WFNZ EN. Mercury Energy Limited (MEEN) will cease to be the residual load participant at both embedded networks as at 31 December 2008. These embedded networks will be reconciled globally from 1 January 2009:


05 December 2008: Temporary Change to the Grid

The reconciliation manager wishes to advise participants of a change at OKN0111. A temporary POC has been set up to supply load to the region normally supplied at OKN0111 LINE GN. This is for scheduled maintenance at OKN0111 on 7 December 2008.

Trading will be reconciled at the new NSP TNG0111 LINE GN for the affected day. Please note if maintenance is not able to be done on 7 December then 14 December has been identified as the back-up date.


25 November 2008: Changes at OTI0111

The reconciliation manager wishes to advise participants from 1 November 2008 Otira, OTI0111, will be reconciled by differencing:

12 November 2008: Changes at GRE0111

The reconciliation manager wishes to advise participants of a change to an existing embedded network. As at 1 December 2008, the following will be a change at GRE0111 WAIK EN. This is a result of WEL networks withdrawing their management of this embedded network:

New NSP: GRE0111 TUIH EN
Name: Tuihana

The embedded network is to be globally reconciled.

Tuihana Networks Limited (TNL) has been established for the purposes of providing electricity distribution. The electricity distribution assets will be vested in the new company and TNL will purchase line function services from Powerco. TNL will also contract with third parties for the maintenance and operations of Tuihanas distribution assets.
